  • PATHWAYS

    Campers select the pathway that resonates most with their experience and ambitions: Mountain Bike or Tennis. They participate in sport-specific training, learning technical skills and best coaching practices.

  • LODGING

    Empower Leadership Camp’s HQ is located at the Whistler Athletes’ Centre, where Olympians stayed! Campers are matched by gender and age in large double occupancy rooms, supervised by our counsellors 24/7.

  • MEALS

    All meals are included throughout the camp. Empower Leadership Camps provide nutritious and delicious meals to fuel campers' adventures. We cater to dietary restrictions and allergies.

  • TRANSPORTATION

    Transportation within Whistler is provided on our private camp bus. Experience the convenience of adventure at your door step! Need a lift to/from Whistler? Book the add-on YVR shuttle.

  • Local campers may opt out of lodging fees. If this applies to you, select the appropriate option at registration.

    • Mountain Bike Pathway without lodging:

      $4,840 + GST

    • Tennis Pathway without lodging:

      $4,520 + GST

    Based on availability, campers may request a private room by email at time of registration. There is an additional cost of $575 + GST.

camp format & pathways

Empower Leadership Camp promises a packed schedule of outdoor adventures, learning opportunities, team building, and fun.

The camp kicks off with a welcome event, an orientation, team building activities, and zip lining to offer campers a new perspective of their surroundings.

Campers then head into pathway-specific training with professional coaches, shaping them into knowledgeable assistant coaches before they put their newly acquired skills into practice alongside our Combo Camps coaches.

A team challenge in the Whistler Blackcomb alpine and a session with a nutritionist will prepare the group for their next adventure: a guided overnight hiking trip lead by professional mountain guides.

Throughout their camp experience, campers will be exposed to carefully curated activities, sessions, and challenges that will ignite a desire for growth and leave them feeling empowered.

  • 2 Full Days of tennis training with a certified Tennis Canada Coach.

  • 1 Half Day of shadowing a Combo Camps coach in our Tennis Camp.

  • 1 Full Day of mountain biking training with a PMBIA Level 3 Coach.

  • 1 Full Day PBMIA Ride Leader Certification*.

  • 1 Half Day of shadowing a Combo Camps coach in our Bike Camp.

*Campers 14 years old or younger will receive 2 training days to fine tune their teaching & riding skills, preparing them for the PMBIA Ride Leader Certification once becoming eligible at age 16.

Mountain bike pathway

payments & offers

  • A deposit of $1,000 + GST is due at the time of registration. The final payment is due by April 15, 2025.

  • The following payment methods are accepted:

    • Credit Card (2.5% fee) - Visa, Mastercard, American Express

    • Cheque - addressed to “Combo Camps Whistler Ltd” and mailed to:

      4500 Northlands Blvd Whistler, BC V8E 1C7 Canada

    • International Bank Transfers ($25 fee)

  • Cancellations on or before April 15, 2025: receive a full refund less a $275 administrative fee.

    Cancellations after April 15, 2025 & on or before May 30, 2025: receive a 40% refund.

    Cancellations after May 30, 2025: no refunds.

    Note that Empower Leadership Camp will not offer refunds for late arrivals, early departures, disciplinary or illness reasons.


    Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to info@combocamps.com.

  • Register siblings and receive $350 off the additional child(ren)’s registration(s).
